Andrew Woodruff’s growing world started with a 2-acre plot on his family’s land and grew to over 30 acres in production, on some of the finest Island agricultural land available. He believes in hard work and offering healthy produce at good value, while caring for the land. Because he knows that good food begins with healthy nutrient-rich soil, his goal is to keep 50% of his land in soil-enhancing cover crops. He explores progressive agricultural methods, using only certified organic inputs and organic weed control. Andrew mentors his employees, allowing for creativity and initiative in the exploration of their ideas with the hopes of nurturing good farmers as well as good food.
